Taking pictures of things that strike my fancy here in the awkward semblance of life that is being a PhD student at Oxford.
Today I had lunch in the Oxford University Press building. My friend Anne works there. Lunch was lovely and it was cool to see the big Georgian buildings. The OUP is surprisingly big!
But the fire inside the octagon is so delightful.
Nathan and I got up early today to go to London. This picture was taken at 7:30 am.
The room is normally closed to the public, but is open tonight for a Christmas concert.

This is now a part of the University, directly across from the cathedral.
We went up to Durham so I could collect some samples.
